Summer in the Pacaut household means one thing and one thing only, barbecue.

Okay, it also means drinking rosé and micheladas but let’s focus here and get back to the summer grilling going down at our petite maison.

This is a time when we really let our French flag fly. Barbecues typically start with a traditional apéritif and a game of pétanque followed by many a pork product (whether cured or grilled), tons of wine and cheese, and this delicious French potato salad.

French Girls Aren’t Perfect

January 4, 2017

Being obsessed with the French is a full time job, or at least a very busy part-time job.

During my free time, you can most likely find me a) reading about something French, b) watching something in French, or c) hanging out with some French person and creepily trying to usurp their identity.

French Words: Boui-Boui | Alyssa Pacaut

Two years ago the French family was here for the holidays. We spent our days fixing up the house (because that’s what family is for) and our nights enjoying delicious meals that ran on for hours (because that’s what French family is for).
